Hot Forging
Hot forging is also called hot die forging by hot forging manufacturers. During the hot die forging process, the deformed metal flows violently and the forging is in contact with the die for a long time.
In addition to providing professional cold forging processes and cold forging materials, Tianhui Machinery also provides hot forging types. Therefore, the die material of this forging process should have high thermal stability, high temperature strength and hardness, impact toughness, thermal fatigue resistance and wear resistance, and be easy to process.
The main types of forgings produced include automotive parts, new energy vehicles, motorcycles, electric bicycle parts, mining machinery parts, agricultural machinery, forestry machinery, recycling machinery, engineering machinery, engines, etc., with thousands of varieties and high-quality forgings weighing 0.2-20kg. The precision of forgings has reached the advanced level of international hot precision forging.
What is hot die forging
Hot die forging is a type of forging technology, which generally refers to a precision forging method that heats the metal blank before forging to a temperature higher than the recrystallization temperature of the material so that it is plastically formed into the shape and size required for the forging.
Characteristics of hot die forging
The die forging process has high production efficiency, low labor intensity, precise dimensions, small machining allowance, and can forge forgings with complex shapes, which is suitable for mass production. However, the die cost is high and special forging equipment is required, which is not suitable for single piece or small batch production.
